At Sugar Vanilla Stencils we design fresh and unique cake decorating stencils, helping our customers to create amazing cupcakes, cakes and cookies. Our designs are original to us, often drawn by hand at the start of the design process before being computer rendered. Any designs that are not designed by us, we hold the commercial licences for; this includes all fonts. 

And we’re constantly working on new designs, new stencil techniques and figuring out what to stencil next. 

We sell direct to the public through our website, trade shows and through Etsy, as well as offering wholesale and trade opportunities. We also offer a custom stencil and cake decorating service to TV, magazine and food photography industries. If you are interested in working with us, please do get in touch at [email protected]  

 

Our stencils have been used by Paul Hollywood on the Great British Bake Off Christmas Masterclass and recently by Mary Berry on the Great American Baking Show. 

 

Louise

I started decorating cakes and cupcakes in 2010, and it quickly grew from my hobby into my passion, which continues to this day. Highlights in my cake decorating journey have been winning Cake Masters Christmas Cupcake competition and  winning Gold at Cake International for my gluten free cupcakes. I’ve been a journalist, a rock band tour organiser, an events manager and now I get to spend my days baking, designing patterns and stencilling everything, including most recently tortillas and scones!

In early 2014 I started the method of stencilling on sugarpaste with sponges and lustre dusts, a technique that gives you super crisp results and beautiful cupcake toppers and cookies. You can usually find me demo'ing at cake shows, particularly the Cake and Bake Show in London, and on instagram at @sugarvanillastencils showing as many stencil techniques as a I can.
